Welcome

November 15th, 2008

Fourth grade is an exciting time in your child’s life. They have matured considerably over the summer and are ready to become more independent. Your child will make leaps and bounds this year both socially and academically. They are at the age where they want to be independent but still like to please the teacher. I am excited about the school year.

Take the time to look around. There is a spot for you to find daily class assignments as well as the weekly spelling words. The easiest way to find spelling words, daily assignments, Brost’s Times newsletters, office papers, and the hot lunch menu is to search under the categories section.  Keep in mind that some categories will not show up until I put a post in them.

This web page is a work in progress.  Eventually I would like to have my students’ writing and class videos posted on this site. There are spots where you can leave comments under different posts. You would need your name and a valid email to do so.   I have also included links to other sites as well as homework helping sites.  As always, please feel free to contact me via email @ brost@byron.k12.mi.us.
